Privacy Policy
DevToolbox is a collection of developer utilities that works without sign-up or login. Values you enter into the tools are processed inside your browser, but some third-party services set cookies to run analytics and serve advertising. This page explains that scope and how to opt out.
1. How tool input is handled
Every conversion, formatting, hashing, generation, and inspection feature on this site runs in your browser via JavaScript. Text, tokens, queries, and other values you enter are not transmitted to the server and are not stored in any database. Tools that accept a file read it through the browser File API and do not upload it.
- The operator cannot read or collect what you enter into the tools.
- Input disappears when you reload or close the page.
- That said, shared computers, browser extensions, and corporate network monitoring can expose values outside the browser, so avoid entering production secrets or live authentication tokens.
2. Information collected automatically
The site does not ask you to enter your name, contact details, or account information. However, the third-party services listed below may automatically collect the following through cookies and similar technologies, for analytics and advertising.
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser, operating system, device information, and screen resolution
- Visit time, pages viewed, navigation path within the site, and time on page
- Referrer and search terms where the search engine provides them
- Advertising cookie identifiers and ad impression or click records

Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Handling of the collected data follows each provider's own policy; see the Google Privacy Policy and "How Google uses information from sites that use our services" for details.
4. How to opt out of cookies
If you do not want cookies stored, you can refuse or delete them as follows.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome under Settings โ Privacy and security, Safari under Preferences โ Privacy, Edge under Settings โ Cookies and site permissions.
- Turn off personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com).
- Opt out of participating vendors at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Refusing cookies does not restrict any tool on this site. It only means the advertising you see may be less relevant to your interests.
5. Retention and deletion
The site does not store visitor information on its own server or database, so there is no separate retention period. Retention and deletion of data collected by the third-party services above follow each provider's policy and configuration.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal data. Contact the address below and we will guide you through the process. Because the site itself holds no such data, requests concerning data collected by third-party services will be directed to those providers' own controls. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
